I’m Selina, nice to meet you.

I come from the small town of New Hamburg in southwestern Ontario, Canada (specifically Punkeydoodles Corners - it’s real) and currently live in London, ON.

I have been interested in photography since I was about eleven years old, always jumping at the chance to take pictures with my family's Sony point-and-shoot digital camera. (Ten megapixels was a lot back then.)

It was in high school that I started to consider photography as a career. I spent most of my time in grades 11 and 12 in the communications lab, editing photos or playing with cameras, or wandering the school grounds with friends, photographing everything. In grade 11, I won $200 for one of my photos in a contest, which I put towards buying my first DSLR. In 2014 I graduated from Fanshawe College’s Photography Program, and since then have been working as a freelance artist in my spare time.

My work is inspired by music I listen to, certain locations, nature, or emotions. I use self-portraiture often as a therapeutic tool to try to communicate feelings that I can’t put into words. I love being outside and going on adventures with my partner Derek, and our coonhound, Tele.

If you like my vibe, let’s work together. Contact for rates or prints.
